Life was never easy for more than 10 thousand people in Beit al-Turki area of Al-Mahwit governorate. They find no way to satisfy their need for water except for permanent suffering which adds a burden to life concerns that puts more weight on the shoulders of parents, especially children and women who are considered the main responsible for providing the water in more than an arduous way and is more vulnerable to transmission of diseases and epidemics resulting from the use of unfit for drinking
Estijabah Foundation implemented the Turkish House Water Project, funded by the International Islamic Charitable Organization, to end suffering that continued for many years, by digging a 200-meter-deep well that is supplying water to a concrete tank by a 90-capacity Sabra vertical pump. Also establishing a water network, so that the residents of Beit al-Turki area and surrounded enjoy clean, adequate and affordable water 10 thousand people.
