In the presence of the Governor of Al-Dhalea Governorate, Major General Ali Moqbel Saleh and Eng. Tariq Lukman, CEO of Estijabah Foundation for Humanitarian Aid and Relief , Estijabah Foundation launched a project of establish, operate and maintain a large artesian well funded by the honorable benefactors of Kuwait and under the supervision of the Sheikh Abdullah Al-Nouri Charitable Society.
At the inauguration, the governor of the Al Dhale’e praised the efforts of Kuwait State in Yemen, as it intervention in many development and sustainable projects, and today we are launching one of these vital projects in the water sector, where more than 20,000 people benefit from this project. We express our thanks to everyone who sought to finance and implement this project To become a tributary to the Water Corporation to alleviate the suffering of the citizens.
On the other hand, Eng. Tariq Raji Lukman, CEO of Estijabah Foundation for Humanitarian Aid and Relief , said that the project consists of drilling an artesian well with a depth of 610 meters, as well as a pumping unit with a capacity of 520 kilowatts powered by solar energy and a 200-meter pumping line with its accessories and building a pump room.
Lukman extended his thanks and appreciation to the local authority for its cooperation in making the project a success. He also expressed his thanks to the Kuwait state , for this project, which will mitigate the suffering of the people of Al Dhale’e Governorate from the hardship of obtaining water. He also thanked the project team of engineers as well as the contractor implementing the project.
The inauguration was attended by Eng. Omar Abdulaziz, Director General of the Water and Sanitation Corporation in Al Dhale’a Governorate, Eng. Badr Al-Hamidi, Director General of the Public Authority for Water Resources in Al Dhale’e, and Brother/ Ghazi Saif, Director General of the Public Corporation for Rural Water in Al Dhale’ Governorate, as well as Eng. Abdul Rahman Al Qasimi, Manager of Estijabah Foundation-Aden office and a large gathering of people.
