The IDPs are the most affected by the conflict, and the most suffering vulnerable people who are the victims of hunger and hopelessness, so they had the biggest of our concerns and our projects in Estijabah Foundation. The temporary Camp Project for the IDPs in the Marib Governorate, which funded by the Kuwait Relief Society, was the most prominent project for the past (2020) year. The project is construction of an integrated temporary camp that includes 200 tents that can accommodate 200 displaced families, supported by 50 bathrooms and sanitation facilities, and the camp has been provided with 2,800 white water for drinking and public use, in addition to the distribution of 20 tanks with a capacity of 400 liters, and the camp was assigned a medical clinic to aid and treat patients.
The project also combined preparing the camp for safe housing with other distributions that were worthy of supporting the displaced and alleviating their suffering that weighed on them, especially when epidemics and hunger spread, in addition to the tragedies that war left them.
200 shelter bags were distributed, including sleeping supplies and kitchen tools, and 3 daily hot meals were distributed to the camp’s families for a period of full month.
