Within the project of the Joint Action for Food Security and Nutrition in Yemen (PROACT II ),
Estijabah Foundation for Humanitarian Aid and Relief is launching the distribution of improved seeds.

In the presence of the Deputy Ministry of Agriculture, the Director General of the Agriculture Office in Lahj Governorate Mr. Abdul Malik Naji, and the Director General of Tuban District Mr. Mohsen Jaafar, the joint efforts project was inaugurated in Lahj Governorate Tubain District, Al Fayush area. The event was attended by the director of agriculture Extension in Abyan governorate, Mr. Abubakr Omer from Al- Koud district.

The project aims to enhance the capabilities of farmers to improve agricultural production and productivity in the target communities. The seed activity benefits 1,448 beneficiaries in the Governorates of Abyan and Lahij, especially in the Tuban Khanfar Districts.
